Ride a Snowfer

The Snowfer is an iceboat/
snowboard hybrid invented by Ontario resident Charles Chepregi.

Since he produced the first prototype in 1991, Chepregi has been improving the fibreglass/balsa sandwich design, using advanced vacuum-bagging technology to produce a lighter and stronger board.

Up until now, the centre of Snowfer activity has been Lake Simcoe, but Chepregi says the board does well over any flat, snow-covered field (Saskatchewan, hello?), and that in a fair wind you can reach speeds of 100 kph. For more info, contact:
