Lake Scugog has long been a popular winter recreational playground and last Sunday,
a group of Snowfer sailors took to the thin ice to try out their winterize windsurfers.
Although the ice appears to be safe, due to the mild weather and rain earlier
this week it would be wise for residents to avoid the temptation to
venture out on the thin ice.
